Dear colleagues:
It gives me great pleasure to extend to you this invitation for the 2006 International Forum of Colorectal Surgery in Nanjing, China on Sept 7-10, 2006. The meeting will be sponsored by National Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and organized by National Center of Colorectal Surgery, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing TCM University. On behalf of the organization committee, I welcome you to share with us this event which will blend education and controversy with the sufficient interaction of audience and faculty and can be expected to be a most rewarding experience.
An excellent faculty of specialists from USA, UK, Japan and Singapore will deliver concise state-of-the-art lectures on topics from translational and clinical studies on anal diseases (hemorrhoids, complicated anal fistula, anal fissure) and colorectal tumors, through colorectal dysfunctional diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases, and pediatric colorectal diseases, to the new progress in diagnostic techniques including anal rectal ultrasound graph, endoscope, and anal rectal physiologic tests.
In addition, there will be a special educational course on the concept and application of TCM in patients with colorectal diseases for the oversea colleagues who are interested in TCM before the forum.
